Nonlocal thermoelectricity in a hybrid superconducting graphene device

چکیده
The Seebeck effect producing voltage difference from temperature gradient has a wide spectrum of applications. Recent theoretical studies show that the Cooper pair splitting and elastic co-tunneling can give rise to nonlocal in hybrid normal metal-superconductor-normal metal systems. Here we propose coherent transport description this validate its experimental observation graphene-based splitter.

Study of Superconducting Fault Current Limiter Device in a AC Railway System
Development of the electric networks led to more interconnection in this system, therefore high level of short circuit faults flows in the networks. Many destructive damages such as instability, insulation problems and voltage mitigation can highly play unwanted influences on the system’s equipment. Using appropriate protection devices like high voltage fuses, fast switches, and such devices...
متن کاملA light-stimulated neuromorphic device based on graphene hybrid phototransistor
Neuromorphic chip refers to an unconventional computing architecture that is modelled on biological brains. It is ideally suited for processing sensory data for intelligence computing, decision-making or context cognition. Despite rapid development, conventional artificial synapses exhibit poor connection flexibility and require separate data acquisition circuitry, resulting in limited function...
متن کاملHybrid graphene nematic liquid crystal light scattering device.
A hybrid graphene nematic liquid crystal (LC) light scattering device is presented. This device exploits the inherent poly-crystallinity of chemical vapour deposited (CVD) graphene films to induce directional anchoring and formation of LC multi-domains. This thereby enables efficient light scattering without the need for crossed polarisers or separate alignment layers/additives. The hybrid LC d...

متن کاملNear-Zero Modes in Superconducting Graphene
Vortices in the simplest superconducting state of graphene contain very low energy excitations, whose existence is connected to an index theorem that applies strictly to an approximate form of the relevant Bogoliubov-deGennes equations. When Zeeman interactions are taken into account, the zero modes required by the index theorem are (slightly) displaced. Thus the vortices acquire internal struc...
